Prostate Health-the missing link
Too often we overllook the bleeding obvious. For centuries Naturopathic
practitioners have known the benefits of seeds to help the prostate maintain
good health. With statistics suggesting that 50% of men over 50 have some
presentation affecting their prostate any assistance will be helpful.
Pumpkin seeds are the beginning. Scientifically validated as housing
very powerful amino acids such as alanine, glycine and glutanic acid. In
addition pumpkin seeds are a rich source of zinc. Within 1 trial frequency of
urination was decreased by 90% with the ingestion of 2 tablespoons of pumpkin
seeds a day. By adding a combination of seeds you will be well on your way in
protecting that prostate. The formula is:-
Equal parts of:-
Cucumber seeds (dry yourself)
Watermelon seeds(dry yourself)
Sesame seeds (purchase from supermarket/health food store)
Flaxseeds (as above)
Almonds
Walnuts
Brazil nuts
Crush and blend together and have 1 tablespoon a day
Herbs to consider
Saw palmetto
Epilobium

My Bloody Big Toe is Killing Me!
Could it be gout? First of all check
with your doctor that it is gout.
Then try some of these helpful hints.
1. Stop eating offal, rich foods, shellfish and fatty fish
2. Make sure you are well hydrated. It is common to see people with gout
not drinking enough water
3. Increase eating alfalfa sprouts, cucumber, cherries (have cherry
juice if not available), figs and cauliflower
4. Apply a cabbage poultice (not for the faint hearted as the toe may be
quite painful) but the poultice may help settle the pain. Apply a crushed
leaf of cabbage to the area and bandage on. Leave on for a few hours but if
too painful remove.
5. Take celery seed capsules
6. Buy meadowsweet and yarrow as dried herbs and have as a tea. Your
healthfood store will help here
